The Spring Release blend is specifically designed to be planted earlier during the growing season than beans and other “warm” season crops. This allows the food plot crop to get a head start on weed competition while providing quality forage for bucks and does during the early antler growing and fawn delivery/milk producing cycles. Spring Release includes five different legumes, two cereals, several forbs and a brassica species for maximum spring-planted diversity. These species work together to provide quality forage throughout the growing season while suppressing weeds and improving the soil’s health. It’s easy to establish by using a no-till drill or broadcasting.
