Ingredients
Balansa Clover, Winter Peas, Cereal Rye, Winter Barley, Rapeseed, Hairy Vetch
Planting Instructions
Drill seed at 3/4" to 1" depth or broadcast and lightly incorporate 4-6 weeks before first frost. Plant
Timing
For best results, plant 4-6 weeks before the first average frost date during the fall. Planting can continue even through the first few frosts but the mix will likely not grow much in the fall and spring growth will be only from the most winter hardy species in the mix, likely rye, barley, and vetch.
Seeding Rate
Plant 60 pounds per acre when seeding with a no-till drill or other planting implement and 90 pounds per acre when broadcasting.
