0:03 Just looking at a few different varieties here. These two that I met right here, this one over here is a

0:08 Variety called Aroostook it is, was developed up in Maine but it's a very early maturing fast growing plant.

0:18 This is Alban, which is kind of the flagship of what we use. It's from the Noble Foundation in Oklahoma.

0:25 Very very similar in the fact that they both are going to be the first things headed out. It's a little hard to tell.

0:33 Would say that the original and it out and flour today or two earlier most of the pollen is off of this already.

0:39 There's still some pollen shedding on the elbe on here, but they're gonna be very similar. So if you want the thing.

0:45 That's going to mature head out and grow.

0:47 The fastest either Aroostook or the Elbon are gonna be the best choices from.

0:59 Planted earlier. Again these plant October 17th planted earlier. I think you'd see a little more.

1:04 Fall growth from the elbow than you in a ruse. It's definitely going to be more winter active than the Aroostook.

1:11 What we refer to as a southern rye that's going to be more winter active than the Aroostook which is going to be.

1:19 More winter hardy, yeah, but we've never really seen issues with El Pond surviving winters up here and we've even had it up in the Dakotas and it seems to avoid.
