4 Unique Events Across the Nation

Good agronomic advice is easy to buy, and nearly every speaker worth hearing already has a talk on YouTube. But what you can't order online is a fellow producer hundreds of miles away who has already made the mistake you're about to make and will pick up when you call. That kind of support network gets built in person, over shared meals and hallway conversations and the late evenings after the last session wraps up.

Regenerative Nexus is a farmer-to-farmer gathering hosted by Green Cover with support from like-minded businesses and organizations that share our commitment to healthy soil and thriving farms. You won't find a trade show floor or a sales pitch. Producers who want to steward the ground God entrusted to them come together to meet one another, share what has worked on their own operations, invest in the growers around the table and connect in ways that last long after they drive home.

This year Nexus is coming to four regions so more producers can find their people closer to home. Each event is shaped by the crops and climate of its area and by local hosts who know it well, and the reason to come is the same everywhere.

Why attend North Carolina Nexus?

November 10–12, 2026Union Grove Farm, near Chapel Hill

For the first time, we're bringing Regenerative Nexus east of the Mississippi with our friends at Union Grove Farm. Tuesday afternoon opens with a soil microbiology workshop led by Dr. Laura Kavanaugh, where you'll learn how microbial communities drive nutrient cycling, residue decomposition and plant health. The two days that follow bring together growers from across the Southeast and the East Coast, and the connections started here are ones you'll lean on long after you head home.

What you'll experience

  • Three farmer-led panels with producers sharing honest results from their own operations
  • The regenerative story of Jack Middleton of Fat Mountain Farms
  • Small-group field sessions on adaptive livestock management with Dane Jensen, vermicompost and compost tea with Patrick Kavanaugh, and cover crops for specialty crops with the Green Cover team
  • A keynote from Green Cover co-founder Keith Berns
  • A small group roundtable and a session on the economics of regeneration
  • A look at new tools and the future of regenerative farming, including drones
  • Farm-to-table meals featuring food from attending farms, a welcome dinner and a social hour

Why attend Omaha Nexus?

February 9–11, 2027Capital District Marriott, Omaha

Omaha is our flagship and longest-running Nexus, an invitation-only gathering of 150 producers from across the country. Many attendees have been coming for years, and the connections started here have turned into farm visits, phone calls, chat groups and emergency agronomy therapy sessions during planting season. If you've received an invitation, this is the room to be in, and if you haven't, request one below.

What you'll experience

  • A full slate of farmer-led panels on cover crops and rotations, nutrient cycling and biologicals, livestock integration and the economics of regenerative farming
  • Small group roundtables where you pick the topics that matter most on your own operation
  • Practice-specific breakouts on subjects like interseeding, planting green, compost extracts and grazing systems
  • Updates on new research, equipment and technology from people working at the front of regenerative agriculture
  • Meals, evening socials and networking breaks made for long conversations and building connections
  • Stay on-site at the Omaha Capital District Marriott for extended networking opportunities

Who should attend

  • Corn, soybean and small grain producers who want to build soil biology and cut input costs
  • Organic and transitioning growers looking for proven ways to manage weeds and fertility

  • Anyone with a regenerative mindset, regardless of experience or the size of their operation

Why attend Texas Nexus?

February 16–18, 2027Cotton Court, Lubbock

The Texas Nexus brings together producers across the Southern High Plains, where wind and dry years put every soil health practice to the test. Growers here share a room with producers who already know the challenges of keeping living roots in the ground on limited rainfall.

What you'll experience

  • Farmer-led panels with Southern High Plains producers sharing honest results from their own operations
  • Sessions on cover crops and soil biology that hold up in dry, windy country
  • Practical talk on grazing cover crops and bringing livestock back onto cropland
  • A discussion on cutting fertilizer and input costs while protecting yield
  • Small group conversations with growers working the same soils and the same rainfall
  • Meals and evenings made for long conversations and building connections

Who should attend

  • Cotton, wheat, sorghum and other row crop producers who want to build soil biology and cut input costs
  • Dryland and irrigated farmers looking to make every inch of rain count
  • Ranchers and stocker operators interested in grazing cover crops
  • Consultants, agronomists and conservation staff who serve these growers
  • Anyone with a regenerative mindset, regardless of experience or the size of their operation
  • This was the best event that I have ever been to. It combined all the topics that I am interested in: soil health, cover crops, organic, no-till, and livestock.

  • Everyone attending had the same ultimate goal, which was soil health and new creative ways of doing things.

  • Real practical experience from people who are doing it on their own dime.

  • The lack of sales pitch and industry, feel like it really helped producers open up and share. I liked the geographic and commodity diversity that was in the room.

  • I feel like producers were also more willing to open up because it was a room of professional farmers that operated at scale, so it was easy to relate.

  • It is really hard to put a value on the contact book I have now. The access to information & knowledge is increased exponentially having that.

Pick the event that fits you best and come ready to meet the people who will help you farm better for years to come.

Because Nexus is as much about the connections you make as the sessions you hear, attending more than one event is a great way to widen your network, and we encourage it if your schedule allows. Feel free to call anyone on the Green Cover sales team at 402-469-6784 for help choosing the event that's right for you.
