Soil Health Field Days
August 4 and 5, 2026
at Green Cover in Bladen, NE
Nexus is the heart of Regenerative Agriculture
Nexus, a connection binding together dynamic members, is vital to the continuation of the regenerative ag movement. The healing of our soils, our systems, and ourselves is pivotal. But this sort of nexus, connection won't happen by accident. That's why our Regenerative Nexus events exist and this summer you can join us for our 3rd Annual Nexus in the Field.
Nexus in the Field is a 2-day, on-farm workshop that focuses on networking, learning and sharing. The power of these events lies in the connections made, new ideas formed, and innovations shared. The 2026 Nexus in the Field will be no different as we welcome guest speaker, Jay Fuhrer to our farm in Bladen, Nebraska.

August 4 & 5, 2026 · Green Cover HQ · Bladen, Nebraska · Free & Open to the Public
Green Cover's annual Soil Health Field Days are back. Spend a morning in the field with four rotating sessions covering corn interseeding, cover crop mixes, biologicals, grazing, equipment for regenerative ag, and more — with over 100 cover crop species on display. Registration is free, open to the public, and limited to 150 per day.

Choose Your Sessions
The day features four rotating sessions running simultaneously throughout the morning, so you can build your schedule around what matters most to your operation:
🌽 Corn Interseeding Plot Tour - Walk our interseeding test plots and see over 20 interseeded species and various row spacings up close.
🌿 Legumes & Broadleaves Plot Tour - See how legumes and broadleaves perform in our test plots and how they fit into diverse cover crop systems.
⚙️ Equipment for Regenerative Ag - Hands-on demonstrations of the equipment side of a regenerative system — practical, real-world, and ready to implement.
🏡 Cover Crops in Gardens & Homesteads - Cover crops aren't just for large-scale operations. This session is built for gardeners, homesteaders, and small acreage producers.
🦌 Diverse Wildlife Foodplots - See how cover crop species can be used to build diverse, high-quality food plots for wildlife habitat.
🧫 Reducing Synthetics with Biologicals - A practical look at backing off synthetic inputs without backing off results — and what biologicals make that possible.
🌾 Annual Summer Forages Plot Tour - Walk our annual summer forage plots and explore species options for grazing and haying systems.
🌱 Cover Crop Mix Plot Tour - See our most widely used mixes growing side by side — monocultures, diverse blends, and everything in between.
🐄 Livestock Grazing, Collars & Forage Chain - Building a grazing system that works year-round, including a look at collar technology and forage chain management.
Share a Locally Sourced Meal
At 12:45, we'll sit down together for a lunch prepared with locally sourced ingredients from area farmers and food artisans. At Green Cover, we like to say you'll never leave hungry — and if you do, that's on you.

An On-Farm, Immersive Experience
Observing the diversity of life in cover crop mix, evaluating soil cores, and monitoring cattle graze is second nature to many farmers and ranchers. But getting to do this on someone else's farm, alongside equally enthusiastic peers, learning from top experts in the field, isn't a chance you get every day. This event offers the opportunity to take the practices you're already implementing on your operation, turn it up a notch and watch the positive results soar.
