Regenerative Nexus: The Best ROI For Your Farm
When was the last time you purchased something and really felt like you got MORE than your money’s worth? The kind of purchase where, looking back, you’d happily pay double for? The Regenerative Nexus events add value to your operation in ways that few other events can. Real connections, shared information, and practitioner expertise form the foundation on which these events are built. You’ll enjoy the food and venue as well and walk away with new ideas and new connections that will keep paying off on your farm for years to come.
Real Connections
You simply cannot put a price tag on human connection. God made us for community from the very beginning, and Scripture tells us it is not good for man to be alone. Unfortunately, in agriculture, it can be difficult to build those communities, and if you farm regeneratively, you may be the only one in your county doing it. That’s why connecting with other farmers, ranchers and land owners who are also on the path to regeneration is so important. A simple YouTube video, blog article or online course can’t replicate what a real human relationship provides. A new friend or mentor could be the reason you finally take the dive into livestock integration with confidence or skip through three years of trial and error with planting green.

These connections are most valuable when they continue on in the future. For that reason, each attendee has the opportunity to share their contact information in the Nexus Networking Book. Each attendee’s profile contains information about their operation, the new practices they are experimenting with, and what sort of questions they are hoping to answer at the event. All attendees receive a copy of the Networking Book at the beginning of the conference so you can start making connections right away. Then at the end of the event you have an entire phone book of regenerative practitioners to reach out to when you can’t find the answer on YouTube.
***Register by November 1st to be included in the Networking Book at the Regenerative Nexus Chapel Hill event on November 10-12th in North Carolina.
Shared Information
Each person at a Nexus event has valuable information to share. The panels are set up such that each panelist shares for 15 minutes about their operation and then the crowd gets in on the conversation. It's a full room conversation where panelists, moderators, and attendees in the crowd ask questions, share experiences and learn from each other. It’s an event where people fill notepads, new ideas are born, and friendships are forged. Long meal times and networking breaks make it easy to find the person whose story sparked your question and pick up where the panel left off.

Grower Expertise
Across the country, hundreds, if not thousands, of farmers, ranchers and growers are regenerating their soils. Yet, most of these people go unnoticed because they are busy farming. At Nexus you get to hear from those exact people. We read every registration form, and if you are doing something worth sharing, we may ask you to sit on a panel. No headliner takes over the program. There’s no tradeshow and no sales pitches. We’re hearing from people of all backgrounds on how they are implementing soil health practices on their farm. They share both the challenges and successes in a raw and honest way. These are real people making real changes and experiencing successes and failures all in the same year. They are the people you need as mentors, friends, and collaborators. You probably won’t hear from them in an online course, but their knowledge and experience is invaluable as you build soil on your own farm.

Excellent Food
The purpose of agriculture is growing food. We work with the venues to source as much locally sourced food as possible. The meals are fresh, wholesome, and keep you properly fueled for the full days of learning and networking. It also wouldn’t be a farmer-event without the coffee. We'll be featuring regenerative coffee from our friends in Honduras where we can. The long meal breaks allow ample time for real connection over a shared meal. The slow-paced plated meals in the evenings feel like Thanksgiving dinner around your own dining room table. Except, instead of sitting with family, you’re connecting with new friends and old, discussing all things regenerative agriculture.

The Real Return on Investment
God made us to work the ground alongside other people, and the farmers who stay with regenerative practices for the long haul almost always have a few friends walking beside them. We’re confident you’ll experience something or meet someone that will change your operation for the better, not only for this year, but well into the future. The real return on investment from a Nexus event comes from the other boots-on-the-ground growers who are making regenerative practices work, both financially and for the soil, on all operation types. The right connection could help you avoid making the same costly mistakes, and start seeing real improvements right away. If you’re ready to take your regenerative journey to the next level, you need to find the person who’s one step ahead of you. That person is at Nexus.
