Description
MetaGrow™ D-Comp is a microbial inoculant and fertilizer that supports plant growth. It is designed to be applied in the fall after harvest or in the spring before planting. When paired with a diverse microbial food source such as HyprCycle+, this product aids the proliferation of soil microorganisms, encourages vigorous root growth and allows plants to more effectively utilize nutrients all while reducing nutrient loss by leaching.
MetaGrow™ D-Comp also increases soil organic matter to improve soil structure and porosity thereby increasing moisture infiltration and reducing erosion. It can also help buffer the pH of the soil.
Application:
- 2-4 gal/ac
- Must be mixed with microbial food source such as HyprCycle+ for optimum results
- May mix with synthetic inputs, jar test is recommended to check compatibility
Post-Harvest:
Recommended when dealing with excessive amounts of corn stalk residue. When applied after harvest, MetaGrow™ D-Comp and HyprCycle+ initiate early breakdown of leftover crop residue, which helps deny pests and diseases a habitat for overwintering. By promoting microbial activity during the fall and winter months, they reduce surface residue going into the next season and improves field sanitation.
Pre-Plant:
Recommended for all other crop residues. When used just prior to planting, MetaGrow™ D-Comp and HyprCycle+ soften crop residue, making the seedbed more uniform and reducing emergence challenges. They also jumpstart the soil’s biological processes, helping cycle nutrients and supporting vigorous early root development right as the growing season begins.
