Sophie Waechter-Cass

Sophie is from Hastings, Nebraska. Growing up, she spent a lot of time on her grandparents’ farm, just three miles east of Green Cover in Bladen, Nebraska. Culture and language studies took Sophie to Peru as a senior in high school where she spent one year as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student. Following that experience, Sophie studied anthropology at an American international school in Prague, Czech Republic for 1.5 years followed by 2 years apprenticing on organic and biodynamic farms in Hawaii, California, Montana and Washington. Sophie started as an intern with Green Cover in 2022 and has worked on both the marketing and sales teams since. In her free time, Sophie enjoys cooking, camping, hiking and spending time with friends and family. Fun Fact: Sophie, Keith and Brian are first cousins twice removed.
